Actions Speak

Let us look at our lives as two parts, EXTERNAL this is our wealth, our work, our friends, our family etc.. and INTERNAL, this is our innermost feelings and thoughts, this is the engine room. However much we appear to think money is the answer, or think we are happy, our internal life knows the truth that deep down something is missing, this is where we have to concentrate our energy initially. The good news is that once we have sorted out the engine room all the other aspects of your life fall into place, you will find greater wealth, as if by magic, you will experience better health, and I can guarantee that you will be happier, than you have ever been before.

I can almost hear a muffled chuckle. Well let me say once more if you don't change and put in the effort NOTHING WILL HAPPEN and you lose. If however you put in the effort for as long as it takes something magical will happen and we all WIN. Why will we all win.? Because if you are happy, you will only attract happy people, and as your wealth health and happiness start to grow, you are then able to help others. You can assist people in many ways, you can just listen to them, or you can tell them how good this all feels, or you can assist them financially, whatever it is that you decide to do you will find that it feels great.

Just try this for one day. Smile at everyone you meet. You will be amazed at how your day will transform. You will not meet any grumpy people, and you can be happy, in the knowledge, that in some small way, you have made everyone elses day a little bit better.

As I give talks and mentor people, I continually encounter the ”woe is me” brigade. That group of people who think that this is all magic. I must admit, it appears magical in its results, but it is definitely not magic. These people read a motivational book on holiday, lying on a deck chair by the pool, and then spend the next two days discussing the merits of it by the bar. Within 3 or 4 days, they start telling you that it did not work. What is missing? ACTION. This is the key to make it all work, this is the fuel for the engine. As we have discussed, all of the previous writings refer to one thing, THOUGHTS. It is of comfort to know then, that our action is not going to involve us in any heavy manual labour. Our action is to work continuously on getting our mind set and our thoughts positive. Although this is not manual work, it may indeed, be the most difficult thing you have ever done. You will fall off many times during the process, but each time you will find it easier to get back on because you will not fall as far. It may take some of you, longer than others, to master all this, but it is not a race, it is a journey and you are at liberty to get off at any point and enjoy your knowledge so far. Sometimes this is of great benefit because you can see these amazing laws working for you.

A recent experience of mine regards action, involves a guy, that I have been close to for a few years. I have been very kind to him and done a lot to help him, I have also been trying to impart some of this knowledge to him. Just recently I assessed my situation, because I was feeling very drained. I noticed that he was not taking a blind bit of notice as to what I was saying, but still complaining about how bad things were for him. Because of my desire to help him, I had not stood back and really looked at the situation. It was at that point, the relevance of action was driven home to me. Subconciously I had been trying to do the hard work for him, I had been giving him advice and trying to action it for him. It does not work!! No one can do this for you. However much you want to help someone, if they are not receptive or they have not asked for your help, or advice stay away. At that point I wrote this. GIVING ADVICE TO SOMEONE WHO HAS NOT ASKED FOR IT, IS LIKE PLANTING A DEAD TREE. I think that sums up the situation.
